How It Works

ND filters reduce light entering the lens by a specific number of stops, allowing longer exposures for creative effects like silky water or streaking clouds. Each stop doubles the exposure time: a 10-stop ND turns 1/125s into about 8 seconds. Stack multiple ND filters by adding their stop values. For exposures beyond 30 seconds, you will need a remote trigger or your camera's bulb mode.
