How It Works
PPI (pixels per inch) measures print resolution density. At 300 PPI, individual pixels are invisible to the naked eye at normal viewing distance (about 12 inches). For prints viewed from further away (wall art), you can use lower PPI: 150 PPI is fine for prints viewed from 3+ feet. The effective PPI is the lower of horizontal and vertical PPI, since both dimensions need sufficient resolution.
